CHROMITE PERICLASE REFRACTORY MIXES (CHROMOCONCRETE, RUNNER CLAY) SHP

The mixes are applied as a high-duty refractory protection of steel-teeming runners and other parts of electric arc furnaces and open-hearth furnaces, thus enabling to reduce brickwork consumption. Similar result is obtained when using mixes to coat the operating part of fireclay lining of hot tops and other purposes.

The mixes are included in PHM-6 refractory mixture applied for masonry work of refractory-faced water walls (refractory zones inside boiler fireboxes) of boiler furnaces;
- used to construct cooled backhearth of boiler furnaces with liquid slag removal;
- for linings or protection coatings of fireclay brickwork in industrial furnaces and boiler plant furnaces, as well as other protection measures.
